Your chance to bike, ride, walk (or bake!) for your ParishBy Mary Gould
This year’s sponsored bike ride, horse ride and walk in aid of Bucks Historic Churches Trust is on Saturday 9th September. We are looking for people to take part by visiting as many churches or chapels as they wish and gaining sponsorship!
We also need people to come along to The Old Church for an hour or two on that day to greet participants and offer them encouragement – not to mention tea, coffee, squash, biscuits and cake. We are hoping to man the Church from 10 am through to 6 pm.
Cakes will also be welcome which will need to be brought to the Church or taken to the organiser.
The Church has a very good reputation for providing home-made cakes and hospitality. If we are to maintain this reputation we need support and co-operation from the local community. Please contact me on 837709 if you can help.
