Enjoy bounty of harvest

Come and celebrate God’s bounty to us on 1st October, when Harvest Festival in the Praish Church at 10 am will be followed by lunch at Ballinger Hall at 12 noon. This will follow the same format as the last few years: a bring-and-share lunch with the meat provided. It is always a very popular occasion when the church can meet and enjoy each other’s company. So be sure to buy your tickets early.

Bernard Tomkins was chauffeur of the vintage Bentley that took them to the reception.
Drink coffee for the Church

The next third Thursday
event in aid of St. John’s Church Funds will be a coffee morning on 21st
September at the Portobello Arms in Chartridge (opposite the Bell pub.)
It will be held from 10 am to 12 noon and there will also be a bring and
buy stall and raffle. Further details can be obtained from Charlotte Reynolds on 793221.
