The Lee W.I.

The Lee W.I. met on 14th November in the Parish Hall for our annual meeting.
After dealing with the normal business and county affairs, we had a short
report on Stella Rimmington’s talk at The Wycombe Swan on her life.We hope to have a Christmas ramble and lunch, venue yet to be arranged. June Pearce, our treasurer, presented the financial statement for 2006, and we appointed an auditor for 2007. Thanks to June’s sterling work we are in a healthy financial state. Thea Blow gave a short report on rambles and then the Committee’s annual report, reminding us of our activities in 2006.
Shelagh Illing gave the president’s address, and thanked all the committee and the members for all the hard work done. Bridget Glover thanked the Committee for all their energetic efforts in 2006.
The committee was re-elected en bloc, and Shelagh Illing re-elected as president.
We then enjoyed a light-hearted quiz, followed by a delicious tea.
