Some of you may have heard rumours to the contrary, but the good news is that The Lee Church Fête will be going ahead this year. The event, which has become immensely popular, will take place on the green (by kind permission of Mrs Stewart-Liberty) at 2 pm on Saturday 16th June, and will no doubt be as delightful as ever.
However… we are still in great need of helpers for the big day itself. If you can spare an hour or two to help set up/ clear up/ run a stall etc, then do not delay… please call Catherine on 837309. As usual the fête also needs your kind donations for its many stalls, and in next month’s issue I will let you know where you’ll be able to take all those books, plants, toys etc. that are required.
