As you receive your Newsletter this month, the children will already have broken up for their Easter break, giving local residents a two week break from the hum and inconvenience of cars at 9 am and 3 pm!
On returning to school on the 16th April, the older children will continue to practice their footwork and coordination skills for the traditional and very colourful Maypole celebrations in the school playground! Please do join us on 1st May at 10:00 am in watching and encouraging the children and for a cup of coffee afterwards. We will also have home made cakes on sale, books from the travelling Book Fair and Phoenix cards. Everyone is most welcome!
After a highly successful morning with the local author, Nicholas Halliday, and subsequent photograph in the local paper, the school is thrilled to be welcoming him back again on 23rd April to run a morning of literacy workshops for all the classes. Watch this space for the next J K Rowling!
