W.I. NewsBy Joyce Swain The Lee W.I. met on Tuesday 13th March at the Parish Hall. The president guided us through the county news and activities. We are hoping to have some more rambles and pub lunches after Easter. June Lock has organised a coach outing to the Savill Gardens on 10th May at an overall cost of £20. We then had a most interesting talk on the history of lingerie since 1880; Mrs Carol Tomes had a wealth of examples to show us. We concluded with our usual delicious tea. |
