Our Traditional May Day celebrations take place in the school playground on 1st May at 10:00 am. Everyone is most welcome – please do join us in watching and encouraging the older children who have been practising for some time their ever-popular dancing around the Maypole. One boy from Year Two will be voted in as Master of Ceremonies and will announce who is to be this year’s May Queen, chosen from one of the Year Two girls. We will have refreshments including our usual array of delicious home-made cakes on sale, together with books from the travelling Book Fair and Phoenix cards.
