By Judith Hart As you may remember, during Lent parishioners from The Lee bravely volunteered to share with you their personal stories about their life and their Christian faith. This proved to be popular and some more brave people will be leading five or six more sessions in the autumn. Talking honestly about one’s faith is never easy as inevitably it means referring to the difficult times as well as the good times in one’s life. However each week we will be treated to someone attempting to do just this as they share their life story. Everyone’s life is different but we hope that these sessions will show how being a Christian has had an influence in their lives and will stimulate you to think about your own life and what you do with it. There will be five or six meetings and you are welcome to come to all of them, or just one, or as many as you can make. They will all be held at Lee Common Methodist Church from 8 pm till 9 pm. The first will be on Wednesday 26th September and will continue fortnightly. More details will be published in the September Newsletter. For any queries please ring me on 837328. |
