A very heartfelt ‘thank-you’ to everybody who contributed so generously to the Red Cross collection.
The sum of £174.66 was raised just from Lee Common, and I have received a letter from the organizers asking me to pass on their appreciation and gratitude to you all for your outstanding support.
A personal thank you from me, too, for making the task such a pleasant social occasion. Margaret Chester would have been delighted. She always enjoyed taking part and we all miss her.
