This month we welcome a large number of new children to the school’s nursery class. We look forward to getting to know them and their families, of course, and we hope that they will soon feel very much part of the school community.
The AGM of the LCSA (Lee Common School Association) takes place in September. All parents are very welcome to come along to learn about how they may get involved with fundraising for the school.
Last year, thanks to the fantastic efforts of the LCSA, the school has been able to purchase amongst many other items, new dining tables for the children, additional gym equipment for the existing apparatus and the canopies in the school playground, which will give protection from the sun on the hotter days of the year! (Shame the summer arrived once the children broke up)!
The school office is being re-sited over the school holidays at the front of the school and should be completed by the time the children return on 5th September. Visitors will no longer need to walk right through the school – the school secretary will greet you as you walk through the door!!
We hope you have all had an enjoyable summer and would like to thank you all for your patience and support during the many events we organised last year.
