NEWSLETTER

By the Editorial Team One of the great strengths of The Lee Newsletter, we believe, is the way that it manages to blend stories of purely local interest with those of planetary significance. This month for example, we have everything from gritting and grammar schools to global warming and Gaia. This started us wondering just how far outside The Lee the Newsletter was actually being read. So, this month we are launching a Where in the World competition to collect photographic evidence of the Newsletter being read in far flung or unusual places. Photographic entries need to clearly show both the Newsletter and the location. Entries should be sent to the Editor stating where the photograph was taken and when. Selected entries will be reproduced in the Newsletter and a prize will be awarded – in due course – for the most ‘interesting’ entry. Judging will be by the Editorial Team, whose decisions will be final; photographs of computers showing the ‘Newsletter-online’ will be eligible; members of the Editorial Team may enter the competition but will not be eligible for prizes; the value of prizes can go down as well as up; no purchase necessary. |
