The Lee W.I.By Joyce Swain The Lee W.I. met at the Parish Hall on 9th October. We discussed our usual business and county matters, including a chance to view the Tutankhamun Exhibition and Christmas lights. Mrs June Lock arranged an outing to Waterperry on 12th October. We were then entertained by Jean Orford with amusing anecdotes and funny stories. She ended with a lovely flower arrangement – another accomplishment! We then celebrated our 88th Birthday with a sumptuous tea. |
