Nigel Dwight 90 years of ageBy Jenny Senior
Nigel Dwight, that well known and respected member of the community, celebrated his 90th birthday on Monday, 9th March. Friends and neighbours gathered at his home in Ballinger to congratulate him and to drink a toast to his future health and happiness.
Nigel was Churchwarden at the church of St John the Baptist for over 40 years. He was a prime mover in The Lee Flower Show, and won many prizes for his flowers and vegetables; in later years he became President, and is still an honoured visitor.
