The fantastic, ongoing fundraising efforts of the LCSA (Lee Common School Association) are much in evidence around the school: the latest project has been the redecoration of the Wrens and Robins classrooms, which look absolutely fabulous! The staff and children are extremely grateful for the tireless efforts of those parents who continue to ensure that the school has access to those important extra funds.
The children have already begun their Maypole dancing rehearsals under the expert guidance of the wonderful Mrs Dean and they are looking forward to the chance of performing for their parents, friends and the local community on 1st May in the school playground. Do please make a note in your diaries and come along and join us for a cup of coffee that morning. Everyone is most welcome!
Supervisor still required
The school currently requires an enthusiastic and caring person to join our team of mid-day supervisors. The role involves supervising children while they eat lunch and play. The position is initially on a casual basis four days a week for one hour and 15 minutes from 11:55 am until 1:10 pm. Pay is approximately £6 per hour but negotiable depending on experience. The school is also open to a job-share arrangement.
