At 8 pm on Wednesday 1st October at The Lee Parish Hall in aid of the charity Friends of Northern Uganda, there will be a talk given by Malcolm Harpur who has had a distinguished international career with Oxfam and the United Nations Association, with a particular emphasis on Africa. His career has also taken him to Kampuchea (now Cambodia), Vietnam and Afghanistan.
Malcolm’s talk will be about the United Nations and its work in Africa. He will give a unique insight into many of the important issues that face Africa today.
