Parish Council looks for result
By Cllr Peter Hammond

The Lee Parish Council is looking to provide new facilities for our playground, primarily aimed at older children and teenagers. The main aim is to create a basketball court on part of the playground and we are in the process of getting estimates for the work. If anyone has any netball or basketball equipment which is surplus to requirements we would be delighted to receive it.

In order to get the greatest possible use out of the court we would also be very interested in acquiring a set of second-hand goal posts. We would be happy to make a reasonable payment and also to collect.
If anyone has anything that might fit the bill please contact the Parish Clerk, Viv Robins, on 837278.

Perhaps I could just end by congratulating the Parish Hall Committee on the excellent refurbishment of the tennis court.
