Carols at the Parish Hall
By Tricia Usborne

Children from Lee Common School will be coming to the Parish Hall at 2:15 pm on Wednesday 10th December to sing Christmas carols for those attending the monthly Tea and Cakes gathering. All are welcome.

Village Choir concert
By June Lock

The dark evenings are upon us, Christmas is imminent and the Village Choir with soloists Glenys Groves and Alexei Kalveks would like to present a sing-along on Friday 19th December in the Parish Hall at 7:30 pm. Everybody is invited to join the throng. Tickets are available (from 867347 or 837353) at £8, which includes mulled wine and a finger buffet.

Bring in the New Year
By Tricia Usborne

There are still some tickets available for the New Year’s Eve party in the Parish Hall, but not many. Over 40 have already been taken and we are limited to 60.

The format will be similar to last year’s with the party running from 8:30 pm to 1 am. The £20 ticket will cover welcome drinks and a meal of salmon, ham and salads followed by desserts, cheese and biscuits with more drinks to welcome in the New Year. Diners should bring their own wine for the table.

Once again the music will be provided by that well known music-maker, I Pod and the Amplifiers.
