Thanks for your support

Ever since the new building was opened in November the sales from the Parish Shop have increased. For the first nine months of the year sales averaged under £2,200 per week, but over the last quarter the average was over £2,600 per week, and the new building only opened on 10th November! We expect January sales to be slower as everyone uses up the excesses of Christmas, but we still believe we can exceed £2,600 per week for the quarter.
As you will have seen, the shop now stocks a good range of fruit and vegetables in addition to all its other products. There really is no need to dash down to the nearest supermarket if you run out of supplies.

We have enough volunteers to staff the shop under normal circumstances but we would welcome a few more who could step in for two hours in holiday periods or when the regulars are away. In particular we are looking for someone to work two hours on a Sunday or on Friday, once a month. If you are interested contact Geoff or Sally Knowles at the shop. Full training will be provided.
