the lee forum The Lee on-line forum
By Colin Sully and Andrew Burnett

Since it was launched last month, we have had over 30 subscribers signing-up for The Lee on-line forum – but we would really welcome more contributions as well as subscribers.

Discussions so far have been mainly about ‘post-boxes’ and ‘airspace’, but remember you could also use it for:
  • minor items for sale or wanted
  • requests for assistance
  • updates on local events
  • sharing local news or pictures
  • security information (e.g. suspicious events).
Getting started
To use the forum you first register some brief details using the links on The Lee website – www.thelee.org.uk. Be patient as there may be a delay before ‘approval’ is given.
You can then make your own contributions to the forum and you can opt to receive emails alerting you to new messages on any of the existing topics or when a new topic is added. (Or indeed you can choose not to receive any email alerts at all.)

Some useful tips
  1. When you log in (on your own computer), it is worth ticking the box “Tick this box to remain logged in on this computer until you log out”. Otherwise you will need to log in each time you visit or click on a link in an email.
  2. When you get an email advising you of a new topic, you need to specifically opt in to continue to receive messages on that topic – just click the link in the message and then click on “Click here to start receiving emails for this topic”.
Do join The Lee Forum, it will cost you nothing – just a few minutes of your time.
