By Barnaby Usborne The parish shop held its second full AGM on Sunday 17th May marking more than two years of successful trading. We have had no need to blame the economy or rapacious bankers as our sales continue to increase. The first quarter performance was the best quarter yet, with the increased range of products on sale bringing in new customers. At this rate we will soon be able to repay some of the individual loans we took on to meet the shop’s start-up costs. The shop depends for its success on the hard work put in by Geoff Swindells, Sally Knowles and all the many volunteers who man the shop. Without them there would be no shop. |
