By Colin Sully Did you know that with effect from September there have been a few subtle changes to the – albeit infrequent – bus service in The Lee? Firstly a number change: the ‘59’ is now known as the ‘177’. (Don’t ask why; perhaps something to do with a shortage of prime numbers?) It is still possible to travel from The Lee to Chesham in the mornings on schooldays, Saturdays and every Wednesday; it is also possible in the afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can even get back to The Lee on the same day if it is a school day… or a Wednesday or a Saturday! But take care because some of the timings have been slightly changed. Similarly you can get to Great Missenden on a Tuesday or on a… On second thoughts, for detailed information take a closer look at a timetable. |
