The Roving Supper once again proved to be a great success due in the main to the organisational skills of Pat Lea and the provision of canapés, desserts and raffle prizes by kind people in The Lee and Lee Common.
Many thanks are also due to those who were prepared to host the main course namely Margaret Thaiss, Pam Garner, Kelly Stone, Mary Stewart-Liberty, Jerry Spence, Tricia Usborne, Pat Mitchell and Diana Jones.
It was good to see some new faces this year at the event and I hope they
enjoyed the night. It has become an evening that we all look forward to and
the date for next year will be 13th November.Despite the awful weather we had an attendance of 68 and this should have raised close to £700. This will go towards the continuing refurbishment and extension of the Parish Hall.
We hope to be able to add to the storage capacity of the Hall in 2010.
