An illustrious contingent of contributors, advertisers, distributors and editorial team members gathered at the Parish Hall on 27th November 2009 for the now traditional Newsletter Annual Dinner.
There was once again a great deal to celebrate, not least the continuing support of such an eclectic mix of individuals.
The gathering enjoyed a review of the past 12 months by David Jones (indeed he had the establishment rocking in the aisles) before the Newsletter Awards were made for outstanding contributions during the year.
The ‘Literary Award’ went this year to Tony Rigby, in recognition of his contribution in many roles to the success of the Newsletter over the past eight years and a ‘Special Award’ was made to Reina Free in recognition of her continuous and unstinting support for the Newsletter.
The thanks of our readers, I’m sure, go to all those who make it happen.
