At the beginning of January last year there was a definite lull in the Shop’s sales which we put down to the after effects of Christmas; perhaps our customers were finishing off the turkey or following a New Year resolution to diet. This year the snow banished any such good intentions, as the Newsletter reported last month.
Your continuing support and a strong trading surplus from 2009 has encouraged us to offer back the last of those speculative loans many of you gave in the far-off days of hope and optimism, before the project had seen the light of day. Once again investors will be offered the choice of taking the cash or leaving it with the Shop as a donation. Last year when we offered this choice with the first half of the loans, over half of you very generously left your money with the Shop. Thank you all for your support.
