The weather having unfortunately scuppered our January meeting, we met on 9th February at the Parish Hall. After catching up on news from the County Federation (many interesting items, including mention of a ‘Hat Extravaganza’), we listened to and watched the pictures projected by our speaker, Sally Botwright. Her subject was ‘Hearing Dogs’, which was most intriguing. Some dogs can be trained to assist owners who are deaf, but some can’t! It was a very interesting talk.
