The Bucks Fire & Rescue Service has written in outlining the fire safety advice they are able to offer home owners. In addition they will pop round and supply and fit smoke detectors for free!
You can invite a fire fighter round to carry out a fire safety check, analysing potential fire risks. They will then fit as many smoke detectors as they think necessary. Modern smoke alarms come with a sealed battery which should normally last some 10 years. To book one of these free checks, ring 01296 744477 or email cs@bucksfire.gov.uk
