The annual litter clearing morning of our local area is scheduled for this month. Please join in and help to keep our lovely village litter free – well at least for a short time...
Many hands make light work of picking up the accumulated debris that collects on the highways and byways of the parish.
Some people treat our verges as open bins for discarding Macduff’s burger boxes and Café Claudius’s coffee cups – you know the kind of thing – don’t keep it in the car and take it home, just open the window and throw it out!
All kinds of other rubbish can be found – it’s not just a couple of hours picking up litter it’s an insight into people’s habits!
Pat Chinnery will then give us all a pat on the back when we gather for lunch at the Old Swan Pub, Swan Bottom at about 1:00 pm.
