The Lee Flower Show
By Anne Kenyon

Time marches on with now only a few weeks left before show day. It is the middle of May as I write and extremely cold and windy weather which has probably delayed the growing of our vegetables in particular. But don’t despair, give them a go and enter them – we are all in the same boat
.
That is if the rabbits and muntjac haven’t enjoyed them!

The dog show is a great attraction, so bring along your special champion, young, old or rescued and enter the alternative Crufts.

Have a go at the Green Man competition, use your imagination. It’s open to all, as is the Art Tent. Everyone is welcome to exhibit their craft in the Art Tent and can sell their exhibits, giving a donation to the show.

Offers of help are really appreciated, especially with setting up the marquee on Thursday and Friday evenings prior to show day, 17th July. Just contact one of us on page 2 of the schedule – we’re waiting to hear from you.
