By Barnaby Usborne Some 100 adults and 20 children came to Garden Cottage in Lee Common on 4th July to listen to jazz and enjoy drinks and a barbecue in the garden. The weather was kind although a little chilly by evening. Thanks in particular to the bar and the raffle, the event raised nearly £1,000 for the Parish Hall, money which is being spent on increased storage and a new cooker. |
