Well, Lee Common does it again! Thanks to you all we raised what the Regional Senior Community Fund-raiser described as “a magnificent £188.32” during Red Cross Week – the highest collection in the area!
Doing the house-to-house collection is always a pleasure and underlines what I already know – how very fortunate I am to be part of such a friendly and generous community. Very many thanks to everybody.
Would anyone care to take on half the village next year? I am now becoming rather long in the tooth and short in the sight department (can’t always see the knockers and buttons in the half-light now) and would welcome any assistance.
