The Lee WIBy Joyce Swain The WI met at The Parish Hall on 13th July. After making arrangements for our stall and raffle at The Flower Show, we enjoyed a talk by Mrs Mitchell called ‘The other end of the tape measure’. The tape measure in question was that of the House of Worth! Mrs Mitchell told us how each employee had one special job – if you did hooks and eyes you didn’t do seams or hems for instance. We ended with our usual delicious tea. |
