This year was our most successful ever, with hundreds of people coming for tea at The Lee Old Church, including a group of 18-year-olds celebrating a birthday.
The total raised in 2010 was just short of £3,000 – this amount included £810 taken over the weekend of the Flower Festival. We were ‘competing’ with the World Cup football and the Wimbledon tennis finals, yet still you came! Thank you so much for your support of our church which means so much to us all.
A huge ‘Thank You’ also to the teams who once again baked and served delicious cakes and most of all to the leaders who did a great job putting groups together. So thanks to everyone, not forgetting Arcadia Jazz who generously play for us each year.
