Based in the heart of the village at the Parish Hall, Shop at The Lee has been trading successfully since 2007. The shop goes from strength to strength, serving the community with everything from daily bread and newspaper orders to fine wines, household basics to plants and flowers for your home and garden, fresh meat, fruit and vegetables to greetings cards and much, much more.
We try to use local suppliers wherever possible: our meat comes from Kings Farm in Wendover, bread from Culture Bakery in Tring and Jungs Bakery in Beaconsfield and treats from Just Biscuits in Stoke Mandeville to give just a few examples, whilst free range eggs are supplied by local farmers. Our special events such as Greek mornings are a firm local favourite, and our annual Christmas fair in November is just the place to buy all your cards, decorations, gifts and wonderful tasty foods whilst enjoying a glass of mulled wine.
The shop is owned by the community and mostly staffed by volunteers, which means that all profits can be reinvested to keep prices competitive.
Whether you live locally, are visiting the area on holiday or just passing through whilst walking the Chiltern Way, please pop in and see us – you’ll be assured of a warm welcome. Oh, and we always have coffee, cakes and sandwiches if you’re in need of a bit of sustenance!
